Oscar Delgado manages ICCT’s Commercial Fleets Center, which concentrates expertise, models, and data to support zero-emission technology adoption by commercial fleets. He also co-leads ICCT’s activities in the Zero Emission Bus Rapid-deployment Accelerator (ZEBRA) partnership with C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, which seeks to transform the Latin American bus market to zero emissions. Oscar has 10+ years of experience working in technology and policy topics around heavy-duty vehicles. He has served as principal investigator for numerous research projects related to vehicle efficiency, emissions reduction, and electrification. He has worked with policymakers in the United States, the European Union, China, India, and Latin America. Oscar holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, and M.Sc. and B.A. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).
