ICCT Beijing Representative Office was established in 2018. Since its establishment, under the guidance of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Overseas NGO Management Office of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, and with the cooperation and supports from our demestic partners, including Vehicle Emission Control Center of CRAES (VECC), Transport Planning and Research Institute of MOT (TPRI), China Waterborne Transport Research Institute, BRI International Development Coalition, China EV 100, The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), World Resources Institute (WRI), and CATARC-ADC, etc., ICCT Beijing RO has been developing researches and modeling analyses in the fields of mobile source pollution reduction, GHG reduction, freight structure shifting, compliance and enforcement, zero emission transition, zero and low emission zone pilot, as well as marine pollutants and GHG reduction, dozens of scientific research reports, briefings and working papers have been completed and published together with our partners.
While carrying out program researches, ICCT Beijing RO has also worked together with our partners to translate the research achievements into public outreach materials and have been releasing a large number of publications and short videos on the websites and WeChat platforms of ICCT and our partners to better publicize the policies, advanced technologies and necessity of mobile source pollution prevention and GHGs reduction in the transportation sector.
